Greetings from Shady Cove!

Yes, a “River runs though it!”  The Rogue River is famous for its world class fishing of salmon, steelhead and trout.  We are located on the Rogue Umpqua Oregon Scenic Highway.  Shady Cove is the gateway to Crater Lake National Park.  The area abounds in numerous recreational opportunities all year around.  Rafting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling and campgrounds along the river, are just a few of the many fun activities that have been enjoyed by numerous visitors.

Make plans to visit our city to enjoy our spectacular scenery, whitewater rafting, unique shopping and wildlife viewing.  We are located in pristine Southern Oregon .  Your travel destination will place yourself within an hour’s drive of the most beautiful scenic vistas; Crater Lake, Rogue River , spectacular waterfalls and bountiful lakes. Shady Cove has all the accommodations that you are going to need whether your plans include driving your motor vehicle or RV. Most are located right on the Rogue River !
